This is because the empty calories in junk food turn to fat almost immediately in the body. Junk foods contain extremely poor nutrition and are terribly high in sodium and sugar. Because of this, our body sugar levels drop rapidly after consumption and we end up feeling chronically fatigued with a major lack of energy.
